 Over 8,000 Indonesian students currently study in the U.S., and So Can You!

Virtual U.S. Education Fair

The U.S. Embassy Jakarta promoted U.S. educational opportunities for Indonesians by holding a Virtual Education Fair on April 13, 2016. Forty people attended including high school counselors and recruitment agents. Six U.S. schools participated in this virtual fair including Colorado State University, University of Colorado-Denver, Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, Johnson & Wales University, Ashland University, and Community Colleges of Spokane. The U.S. Embassy website lists the nearly over 260 U.S. Educational Institutions that are actively recruiting Indonesian students for degree and non-degree programs.

We Welcome Indonesian Talent!

Increasingly more U.S. educational institutions are welcoming aspiring international students in order to add diversity to their academic portfolio. Over the past couple decades, a great number of U.S. educational institutions have reached out to the U.S. Embassy for support in promoting their academic programs in order to recruit more Indonesian talent. The result has been very successful, with more Indonesian students electing to study in the U.S. each year.

Which U.S. Schools are focused on Indonesia?

We have put together a list of U.S. Educational institutions that are actively recruiting Indonesian students like you. The list includes U.S. educational institutions that the U.S. Embassy has been working with during the past 10 years.

The key highlights of the list are:

  • The list includes 264 institutions and has views by alphabetical order, geography, and type of Institution.
  • 85 institutions in the list joined forces at our Embassy organized fairs.
  • 100 institutions in the list have participated in non-fair programs organized by the U.S. Embassy.
  • 77 institutions in the list have participated in private sector education fairs supported by US Embassy Commercial Section.
  • 42 institutions in the list also made it to the IIE (Institute of International Education) lists of 2015 U.S. educational institutions with high international enrolment rate.
  • 24 institutions in the list are included in the list of LPDP Sponsored University List.
