Ground Support Equipment Industry

Munich – Mark your calendar and don’t miss the best event for ground support equipment (GSE) in the European market! inter airport Europe 2019, the international exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design and services, takes place October 8-11, in Munich, Germany. The 22nd edition of the biennial trade show will be held at the Munich Trade Fair Center, a great venue that offers first class halls and an extensive outdoor area. inter airport Europe 2019 represents the entire airport industry, with exhibits ranging from solutions for ground handling, terminal operations, airport IT and airport design.

Ulika Tosner, exhibition director at Mack Brooks Exhibitions, says that “digitalization is a key focus of inter airport Europe. At the show, visitors can discover and source the latest developments for the interconnected airport. A large number of airports worldwide are reporting of their search for new technologies which allow them to cope with growing passenger figures and growing traffic volumes in general.” A special emphasis is on the implementation of networked systems. “In order to ensure a smooth operation of the airport despite this growing traffic, digital systems are used more frequently. In addition, new terminals and runways are built worldwide which involves the need for new equipment,” Tosner continues. Therefore, the upcoming show is the central marketplace for airport operators worldwide as it covers the full spectrum of the industry.
