World Bank-financed projects, Bank administration and operations frequently require a wide range of consulting services.  Borrowers are responsible for hiring consultants on Bank-supported projects. World Bank consulting guidelines ensure that the process is as open, competitive, transparent and efficient as possible. There is no central point for listing positions, rather consultants are selected from a registry entitled Dacon.  Consultants may also register directly with the country/borrower. Requests for Expressions of Interest for consultants hired directly by the World Bank for its operational work are published on the Development Gateway and UN Development Business.
