On Feburary 29, 2008 the U.S. Commercial Service and the West Virginia Development office welcomed Commercial Specialists from South America. Specialists from Brazil, Peru, and Chile spoke of opportunities for exporting to these markets. Julie Anglin, Latin America/Caribean Desk Officer from the Market Access and Compliance, spoke about export opportunities in Columbia and the U.S. - Columbia Free Trade Agreement. Patrick Hayes, Regional Export Finance Manager for the SBA, discussed financing issues related to exporting. Scott Quensberry, Special Textile Negotiator for the Office of the United States Trade Representative, spoke about South American Free Trade Agreements.
