Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) – July 14-20, 2008
FIA is one of the largest aviation events outside the U.S., and represents a major opportunity for U.S. exporters. Around 1,500 exhibitors and over 140,000 trade visitors attended the last show, in 2006. This year there will be a large U.S. Pavilion, certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, where the Commercial Service will host a business information office. Through our ShowTime program, a number of our European aerospace specialists will also be available to offer advice and insight on Europe’s leading aerospace markets; and we will be holding Business Briefings each morning featuring guest speakers on topics that include doing business with NATO, U.S. export controls, and the impact of REACH and RoHS.
