The following is a notice from DCCI dated April 23, 2003 that was published in Gulf News (April 27, 2003).

Important Notice - to all Exporters to Iraq

Pursuant to our former notice in respect of the contracts of the exporters to Iraq, kindly note that the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations has advised us that all information concerning Oil for Food programme is available on the U.N. website (www.UN.org) and that it is strongly recommended for all suppliers to visit this site and register their claims therein as soon as possible.

Suppliers should mention in their claims that documents pertaining to their contracts have already been sent through Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry to the U.A.E. Permanent Mission to the U.N. in New York.

Those who have not submitted their claims to the Chamber are kindly requested to do that as soon as possible.
