Autoparts Re-Export 2006 - November 25-27, 2006

Target Exhibitors: Products / Services for the automotive aftermarket. Franchisors seeking to develop international markets.

Increasingly, multinational companies go to the U.A.E. if they are interested in exporting to markets through this region and companies within the automotive industry are no exception. In fact, some have even relocated regional offices from Europe to the U.A.E.

It is estimated that last year over 60% of automotive aftermarket imports to the Middle East were for replacement vehicle components. In large part this is due to the changing trend of car ownership for longer periods than previously. Other factors to be considered for the boom being experienced in this market are the harsh climatic conditions and long travel distances which contribute to the need for spare parts and garage equipment.

There is a growing trend of used cars being imported into this country which results in the need for repair and reconditioning before being sold - to other countries and sometimes within the U.A.E. itself.

Invitation to targetted business visitors will be sent to countries through the region.
