U.S. Export Assistance Centers (USEAC’s), led by the U.S. Department of Commerce's U.S.  Commercial Service, consolidate the export promotion and financial consulting services of several State and Federal agencies to help businesses and educational institutions strengthen their international marketing and increase exports of goods & services (including education & training services!). We have a variety of different programs that can assist the education sector with its international marketing efforts. There are over 100 Export Assistance Centers around the country.

The U.S. Commercial Service has a worldwide network of about 150 commercial offices located in over 80 countries. In many countries we have an education specialist who can assist you with finding an agent, with meeting with potential partner universities or with meeting with private companies that may need specialized training for their employees. You tell us what types of contacts you would like to meet with and we can help arrange your meetings before you ever leave the country.

These same specialists also track the education sector in the country and write reports on opportunities for U.S. schools and training institutions. We are happy to share this information with you at no cost.

The Commercial Service also organizes education fairs and U.S. pavilions at education fairs, and supports fairs organized by Education USA advising centers, IIE, as well as private sector fair organizers. For an updated list of upcoming events, see the upcoming events page on this website.

Trade Fairs/ Catalog Shows, various locations/ costs
We can assist you with identifying international education fairs. For many of these fairs, the Commercial Service will organize and staff a catalog booth for a greatly reduced price.

International Partner Search, $500-$800 per country/ region
We will find the agents/educational organizations that are interested in partnering with YOUR school and provide you with the contact information.

Gold Key Service, $700-$1,000 per country/ region
Before you head overseas, we will set up appointments for you to meet with interested agents/contacts.

Single Company/School Promotion, various locations/ costs
Want to get your name known in a new market? We’ll organize a seminar or reception featuring your educational institution and invite the country’s key players in the education field.

Platinum Key Service, various locations/ costs
A flexible service for your longer term (6-12 months) overseas endeavors, such as executing a marketing strategy or setting up a local campus.
