Internships at CS Bratislava
The U.S. Commercial Service in Bratislava offers internship opportunities for Slovak students throughout the year.
What would you be doing?
The U.S. Commercial Service assists U.S. companies to sell their products and services in Slovakia with market research, business matchmaking services, and other marketing and sales support. At the same time, we help Slovak firms find U.S. suppliers and joint venture partners, and offer our assistance in all aspects of importing from the United States. To support these objectives, this office analyzes information on the Slovak market, facilitates contacts between U.S. and Slovak businesses, promotes U.S. products, advocates on behalf of U.S. business interests, and more.
Within this framework, we expect participants in our Slovak internship program to assist our staff with a combination of administrative and analytical duties:
- maintenance of our Client Tracking System, Business Service Provider and Featured U.S. Exporters databases
- content management of this website
- answering routine business inquiries and document filing
- assistance with the organization of ongoing projects such as trade missions, trade shows, publications, seminars, etc.
- assistance with the collection of information for industry-specific market research
- a special project may be assigned to an intern, depending on the needs of this office and the abilities of the intern to complete the project
An official letter of thanks and recommendation will be provided at the end of the internship. Most universities will award credits for a completed internship.
