Italy-U.S. Aerospace Business Netoworking, May 4-10, 2008
U.S. aerospace manufacturers are invited to participate in a business networking opportunity with Italian aerospace manufacturers. This event will be held at the Italian Aerospace Research Center, or "CIRA", near Naples, a major center of Italian aerospace activity. The heart of this event will one-on-one meetings between U.S. and Italian companies aimed at establishing new and strengthened business ties through activities such as joint ventures, representation agreements, and direct sales of components. Major financial support is generously being provided by the Campania regional government (encompassing the area around Naples), which will make final decisions on U.S. participants. U.S. participants will meet individually with representatives from a pool of some 40 Italian aerospace manufacturers anticipated to attend.
Program highlights include: One-on-one meetings with Italian companies individually selected as potential business partners based on stated interests of the U.S. participants, Presentations on economic and business conditions in Italy related to U.S. aerospace trade, A guided tour of the Italian Aerospace Research Center, Tours of Italian aerospace manufacturers keyed to the interests of U.S. participants, with a focus on companies primarily in the Naples area (through the assistance of the industrialists’ association of Naples). There is no registration fee. The Campania regional government has generously offered to provide funding to make this event possible.
