SW China Earthquake Relief and Reconstruction Update -- dialogue with the
US Consulate Chengdu and TY Lin International

What:  Briefing and roundtable discussion on the latest status of Sichuan
earthquake relief efforts and opportunities for US firms to support relief
and reconstruction efforts  (free of charge)

When:  Tuesday, July 22nd, 9:00am-10:00am

Who:  Ms. Helen Hua of the US Consulate Chengdu, will provide a briefing on
the current situation in Sichuan and opportunities for US companies to
support relief and reconstruction efforts of the May 12 earthquake.  Ms.
Chwen Siripocanont, Vice-President of TY Lin International (an SF-based
civil and strucutral engineering firm with an office in Chongqing)  with
share her company's experience and involvement in the post-quake relief
effort, specifically city/transportation planning for the
earthquake-affected town of Mianyang.  This roundtable is co-hosted with
the Cal-Asia Business Council (www.calasia.org).
