Who: Ms. Helen Hua of the US Consulate Chengdu, will
provide a briefing on
the current situation in Sichuan and opportunities for US
companies to
support relief and reconstruction efforts of the May 12
earthquake. Ms.
Chwen Siripocanont, Vice-President of TY Lin International (an
SF-based
civil and strucutral engineering firm with an office in
Chongqing) with
share her company's experience and involvement in the post-quake
relief
effort, specifically city/transportation planning for the
earthquake-affected town of Mianyang. This roundtable is
co-hosted with
the Cal-Asia Business Council (www.calasia.org).
