June 17, 2009: Canada Webinar Series: Nonresident Importer
Program
Date: June 17, 2009
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EDT (11:00 am – 12:00 pm PDT)
Price: $35
Canada is the largest single export market for the United States and represents one of the most receptive markets in the world for U.S. goods and services. The North American Free Trade Agreement and Canada’s geographic proximity have afforded U.S. firms with a significant advantage in selling to Canada’s markets.
Yet U.S. firms can further increase their competitive advantage by becoming a Non-Resident Importer (NRI). Canada’s NRI program allows U.S. firms to handle the customs clearance process thereby eliminating the need for their Canadian customers to handle the import process. It also allows U.S. firms to offer their Canadian customers a single price that includes all shipping, duty, taxes and customs brokerage charges. As such, U.S. firms can eliminate any surprises with regard to unanticipated costs and sell to their Canadian customers on the same basis as their Canadian competitors.
The NRI program is a powerful tool that you can use to expand
your sales in Canada. Please join us for this important webinar
and learn how to access this program.
