School: University of California, Davis

My experience at the Sacramento USEAC has profoundly contributed to my personal and professional development. USEAC interns are responsible for handling tasks that require focus, discipline, and a willingness to learn to perform new tasks on a daily basis. Upon completion of this internship, I have learned how to be a leader in what is truly a high-activity office. Working alongside other talented interns and under the mentorship of Director George Tastard has helped me to develop a substantial foundation to prepare me for other careers in international trade.

Thanks to my internship experience at the Commercial Service Sacramento, I am hoping to pursue a career in international trade finance. This internship exposed me to the variety of careers available in international trade and connected to a greater network of international trade professionals. This internship is truly what you make of it. I recommend this internship to anyone who wants to take advantage of the mentorship they can receive at this office.
