This program may represent interest for U.S. franchisors, as well as for their franchisees.

1. For U.S. franchisors the program offers opportunity to test the Russian market, promote their brands and franchise concepts, as well as possibly find future franchisees. All these goals may be achieved without leaving home - via exhibiting business literature at the International Franchise Exhibition BuyBrand 2005 via an “American Pavilion” booth.
2. For U.S. master franchise holders who are already present in the market this is an opportunity to increase the brand recognition, promote franchise concepts, and meet with potential sub-franchisees.
3. For single (or multiple) unit franchise holders it is an opportunity to promote the goods and services they are offering under the U.S. franchise license.

What do you need to do to participate in the Catalog Event

If you are interested, please follow the following instructions shipping instructions and payment procedure:

Step 1: Send your promotional materials to Moscow

Send your product literature and an Introductory Letter to us. We would appreciate your sending us 30-50 copies of your catalogues.

IMPORTANT: Your promotional materials must reach Moscow no later than September 16, 2005.
To avoid customs clearance problems, the literature should be packed in boxes with a total weight less than 40 lbs. Total shipment weight should not be in excess of 140 lbs.
In the description line state Documents and Catalogues, and for the value state "No Commercial Value".
This should help avoid potential problems and fees at Russian Customs.

Step 2: Application

To participate in this event, please submit Online Application Form located in the bottom part of this page.
After we receive your application, we will issue our Participation Agreement and will send it for your signature via e-mail.

Step 5 (optional): Electronic versions of your product literature

As part of the service we may add the information about your franchise concept onto our web site in the Russian language section: http://www.buyusa.gov/russia/ru/franchising.html

In addition to the text of your Introductory Letter, which we will translate into Russian, we would like to add to the site your catalogue or brochure.
