On October 28, 2009, CS Bucharest met with Pompiliu Budulan, the General Manager of Nuclearelectrica to thank him for his outstanding performance during the U.S. Civil Nuclear Industry Promotion Program. Mr. Budulan was presented a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his instrumental role in making the program successful.

The U.S. Civil Nuclear Industry Promotion Program in Romania was held in September 21-22, 2009 and enabled 11 U.S. companies to get an overview of the Romanian nuclear energy industry. The on-site visit to the Cernavoda nuclear power plant organized with the help of Mr. Budulan was extremely informative thru dialogue between Romanian and American experts.
