The Hong Kong market is an important one for U.S. publishers. With a stable rule-of-law, English fluency and the world's freest economy, Hong Kong serves as an entrance point for the entire Asia region. For the first time ever, the U.S. Commercial Service is offering a Catalog Show at this year's Hong Kong Book Fair. The Hong Kong Book Fair takes place July 22-28, 2009. Last years event boasted 485 exhibitors and over 829,000 retail visitors. This year the organizer has expanded the event to includes 3 days of "trade only" visitros.
Now you can put your titles in front of these exhibitors and attendees by participating in our U.S. Pavilion. For just $100, you can showcase your titles and enjoy the following:

The deadline to sign up is July 8, 2009. Publishers will need to send sample books to the CS Hong Kong office by July 10. Each publisher can showcase a maximum of 5 titles. Once you register, we will provide shipping details. There is a space limit, so we will be accepting participation on a first come, first serve basis.
