Showtime
Commercial specialist pre-scheduled meetings with U.S. Exhibitors will be offered through a Showtime Program at the show. Please advise Bill Cline of the Environmental Team as soon as possible if you plan to attend WASTE EXPO and want to take advantage of participation in the Showtime Program. This is a great marketing venue for your post to meet with high interest clients for counseling and potential follow on services. You will receive details about all of your appointments at least 10 days prior to the show and you will be asked to prepare for each meeting.

Foreign Buyer Matchmaking and site visits/spin-offs
provide high quality value added to your foreign buyer delegation and upgrade the value of your IBP travel package. The Environmental Team will be arranging foreign buyer Matchmaking meetings with U.S. Exhibitors during WASTE EXPO. Foreign buyers will have final say over meetings set up for them based on their product/service requests. Foreign buyer profiles are required at least 6 weeks prior to WASTE EXPO to allow adequate screening time and meeting confirmations. For cases with visas pending, we will market these buyers as tentative.
The Environmental Team is not anticipating arranging site visits at this year’s WASTE EXPO. However, if you have identified a particular need or interest, contact team leader Bill Cline to discuss to whether the team may be able to assist. Please note: the team does not have any funding to arrange any off-site visits, so the requestor should be prepared to fully fund all arrangements for such activities. If you are leading a delegation and looking for site visitor spin off opportunities, please advise the team at least 6-8 weeks in advance so we can arrange. We hope that you will include information about these activities in your recruitment packages. WASTE EXPO does not offer site visits as part of their trade show program.
International Buyer Program
WASTE EXPO 2010 has been accepted into the US
Department of Commerce's (DOC) International Buyer Program.
The International Buyer Program (IBP) brings together
international buyers and US firms by promoting leading U.S. trade
shows in industries with high export potential. Participation in
the IBP can be beneficial to both international attendees and
exhibiting companies whose goal is to sell in the global
marketplace.
WASTE EXPO 2010 will be promoted via U.S. embassies,
consulates and Commercial Service Posts worldwide. The IBP
will also survey exhibitors and international delegates regarding
their purchasing and selling interests in order to match
exhibitors with prospective buyers.
