On November 3, 2009 Carnegie Mellon University Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics will host a day long conference focusing on how the U.S. and EU can work together to speed progress on climate change by reducing obstacles and enhancing incentives for the development and spread of cutting edge technology.
This one-day conference will bring together public and private sector participants from to review imaginative public sector initiatives to reduce obstacles and increase incentives for the private sector to develop and spread innovative technologies.
The U.S. Commercial Service will outline the most promising markets for Green Technologies in Europe and look at key drivers.
Carnegie Mellon will present some of the most promising technologies for saving energy and reducing carbon emissions.
Finally, private sector companies will share best practices and recommend policies to speed the spread of the cutting edge technologies.
