The US Commercial Service, Gannon SBDC and the Northwest Commission are offering an export basics seminar in Meadville "First Steps to Success".  The seminar will discuss how to identify potential export markets and discuss logistics of exporting your product from the U.S.

This seminar will help to familiarize participants with exporting and will introduce the following topics.

  • Due diligence (customer screening)
  • Negotiating with foreign customers
  • Payment terms
  • INCOTERMS (terms of sale)
  • Export documentation and recordkeeping
  • Financing options for working capital and receivables
  • Laws and regulations governing US exports.
