Aquatech International Corporation, Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. Located in Cannonsburg, PA, Aquatech is a supplier of water management services dedicated to treating, restoring, and purifying water worldwide. Utilizing an Ex-Im Bank working capital loan, Aquatech was able to secure a $75 million environmental exports contract with ENEL, Italy’s largest power company. During an event hosted by Aquatech on August 14, 2007, Congressman Jim Murphy (PA-18) presented the company with the U.S. Commerical Service’s "Export Achievement Certificate".

Penelec - A FirstEnergy Corporation

(Erie, PA) The Export Achievement Certificate of the U.S. Department of Commerce recognizes companies and organizations that have helped to facilitate the services of the U.S. Commercial Service and contribute to export sales. Penelec, through FirstEnergy's "Export Now" Program has introduced industrial firms located in the company's service area, to resources and opportunities to grow their businesses in the international marketplace. Over the last 5 years, 14 manufacturing companies from Penelec's service area have participated in the Export Now Program in Canada and Mexico and report projected new sales of over 4 million dollars over a 2 year period as a result of their participation
