The ExpoFerretera 2008 (www.expoferretera.com.pe), trade exhibition for the hardware, fixtures, building materials and construction industries will take place in Lima, Peru, July 3-6, 2008. More than 18,000 industry professionals are expected to visit this four-day event.

The Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Lima will participate in this show with a catalog exhibition of U.S. companies.

A catalog exhibition is a low-cost method of promoting your equipment and products in Peru. Our trade specialists will promote your products, keeping in mind your company's objectives, selling point and ideal business partners while gathering and qualifying sales leads, and assisting in follow-up.

Peru is one of the faster growing economies in Latin-America, with the construction sector expanding at annual rates of 15% or more.  With the expected entry into force later this year of the recently concluded U.S.-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement (commonly referred to as the Free Trade Agreement, or FTA), most industrial and consumer products from the United States will be eligible for duty-free access.

- After ExpoFerretera 2008, the catalog show will move to the U.S. Embassy’s Business Center and continue giving your products extra market exposure.
