The Export Council of Oregon and Southwest Washington is an organization of local leaders whose knowledge of international business provides a source of professional advice to companies seeking to expand international sales. The Council works with the local U.S. Commercial Service Office in Portland.

The Export Council of Oregon and SW Washington promotes international trade through education, advocacy and support of programs and services to enhance the economic vitality of the region.
The Council accomplishes its mission through:
Counseling local businesses
Identifying export financing sources
Sponsoring programs to create greater export awareness in the local community
Identifying issues that impact export trade
Encouraging international education
Build local export assistance partnerships
Supporting programs and services of the U.S. Export Assistance Offices
