The Oman Tender Board has floated a Tender No. 53/2004 for the construction of a 52,500-cubic meter-per day sewage treatment plant at Al-Ansab. All international companies specialized in the above work can participate in this tender. The deadline for bid submission is July 19, 2004.

Tender Documents are available from The Omani Tender Board in Muscat upon payment of Rial Omani 1500 (USD 3896) non refundable. The bidding documents need to be accompanied by a Bid Bond of 2% of the tender price. Bids must be submitted in a red wax sealed envelope addressed to H.E. Chairman of The Tender Board, P. O. BOX 787, P. C. 133 Al Khuwair, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The back of the envelope should read "TENDER NO. 53/2004 For Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant at Al-Ansab." The envelope should not identify the bidder. Completed tender documents must be deposited with the Tender Board before close of business on Saturday July 19, 2004. Bids deposited after this time will not be considered.
