Thursday, April 20, 2006 - Congressman Richard W. Pombo (CA-11) and Assistant Secretary of Market Access and Compliance David Bohigian, presented Steve Lamson, President of Simpson Manufacturing Co., with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Achievement Certificate for the company’s recent export sales to China and Japan. This event was organized by the U.S. Commercial Service’s Oakland Export Assistance Center, and the award recognizes U.S. business that have benefited from exporting to new foreign markets through the assistance provided by the Commerce Department’s U.S. Commercial Service.
