Monday, January 14, 2008 - The Oakland Export Assistance Center (EAC) hosted the "Seoul Focus: Doing Business with South Korea" seminar in the Oakland Asian Cultural Center in Downtown Oakland. This event addressed a variety of topics structured to help U.S. businesses increase their sales, protect their business interests, and take advantage of U.S. government resources when doing business with South Korea. Mr. Keith Carson, Alameda County Supervisor (5th District), gave opening remarks during the beginning of the seminar. Event participants met one-on-one with guest speakers to discuss issues pertaining to their business during the built-in meeting sessions.
