Join the U.S. Department of Commerce for a special one-day forum to learn more about government resources available to help your business become more energy efficient.
Forum Participants Will:
- Hear directly from senior federal and state officials on government energy efficiency programs and resources available to U.S. businesses. Agencies represented include: National Institute of Science and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership, EPA's Industrial Energy Star Program, Department of Energy's Industrial Technologies Program and the State of Ohio Energy Office.
- Learn first-hand "best practices" from private companies that have become more competitive in the global marktplace as a result of becoming more energy efficient. Session features Chief Sustainability Officer of Owens Corning, Frank O'Brien Bernini, who will share how his comapny has successfully worked with state and federal agencies to improve profitability.
- Participate in a site visit to a local company showcasing energy efficiency in action. (Shuttle provided).
