This Exporter Workshop is co-sponsored by Monmouth University Leon Hess Business School and the U.S. Department of Commerce Trenton Export Assistance Center.

TD Bank Global Trade Officer Charles Dugan will join us in conducting an informal workshop on getting paid for US exports.  

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Export payment terms
  • Pro forma quotations
  • FOB, CIF
  • Pricing
  • Alternatives and risk mitigation tools
  • Letters of credit (documentary collections (documents against payment and documents against acceptance), sight and time drafts, L/C discrepancies)
  • Wire transfers
  • Acceptance financing

Attention will be given to documentation requirements to ensure smooth and timely payments.  

Charles will be on hand to provide one on one counseling afterward and a casual buffet lunch will be provided.
