TD Bank Global Trade Officer Charles Dugan will join us in conducting an informal workshop on getting paid for US exports.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Export payment terms
- Pro forma quotations
- FOB, CIF
- Pricing
- Alternatives and risk mitigation tools
- Letters of credit (documentary collections (documents against payment and documents against acceptance), sight and time drafts, L/C discrepancies)
- Wire transfers
- Acceptance financing
Attention will be given to documentation requirements to ensure smooth and timely payments.
Charles will be on hand to provide one on one counseling
afterward and a casual buffet lunch will be provided.
