REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) is a major reform of EU chemicals policy. REACH will affect all global supply chains that produce and use chemicals. U.S. exporters to Europe should carefully consider this piece of EU environmental legislation.
REACH was adopted in December 2006 and will enter into force in June 2007 in the 27 member states of the EU.
