The International Business Council of the Meadowlands Regional
Chamber will be hosting a meeting of the Port Users Group – a
group that represents both private and government agencies
involved with the movement of goods through the port
facilities. The companies and agencies attending that day
are the terminal operators, steamship lines, Custom Examination
Sites, warehouse operators, trucking associations, Customs and
Border Protection, USDA, FDA, Fish and Wild Life, the Port
Authority, City of Newark, Concentra Medical Centers and many
more. This meeting usually takes place in the Port however,
we are playing host to advance the mission of the IBC within the
Chamber. The Port Users Group typically has 40 to 50
regular attendees so this promises to be a well attended event
and a great opportunity to meet those responsible for goods
movement.
