The NV District Export Council and U.S. Commercial Service would like to introduce to you a series of export training courses.
What: A three-part series designed by the District Export Council and the Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning how to sell products and services overseas, particularly manufacturers, service providers, and students with a desire to learn the ins and outs of exporting and doing international business.
When: All sessions are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and include lunch and materials.
Course 101 - September 18, 1009: This introductory course is designed for all levels of personnel at primarily new-to-export companies and students seeking skills to identify and communicate with buyers, banks, logistics intermediaries, and others in developing the basis for an export transaction.
Course 201 - November 13, 2009: This intermediate course is designed for managers at exporting companies and students who are responsible for developing and fine tuning operations to inrease a firm's export volume.
Course 301 - March 5, 2010: This advanced course is designed for those responsible for developing and engaging the strategic export plan, including the topics:
- International Standards: CE Marking, ISO, CCC Mark, etc
- Establishing International Partnerships and Overseas Presence
- Patents, Trademarks, and IP Protection
- Strategies for Export Compliance
