Student volunteer opportunity for the 2008 National Summit on American Competitiveness, Thursday, May 22nd, Chicago. The 2008 National Summit on American Competitiveness will convene the nation's premier leaders of business, government and academia on what steps the public and private sectors can take to secure America's position as the most competitive economy in the 21st century and beyond. Confirmed speakers include:

Craig Barrett, Chairman of the Board, Intel
Richard M. Daley, Mayor, City of Chicago, Honorary Co-Chairman
Deborah Wince-Smith, President, Council on Competitiveness

John Engler, President, National Association of Manufacturers
Volunteer summit staffers would assist in managing the logistics of this major event from 7 am to 7 pm on May 22nd. All Summit Staff would also need to participate in one of the on-site walk thrus offered in advance to describe posts and introduce staff.
