EXPO AGRO SINALOA, THE BIGGEST AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY EXPO             

This 20th Expo Agro Sinaloa will take place in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico on the 3rd through the 6th of February 2010.  This is the biggest expo of products, services and technology in the agriculture industry.  All segments of the industry will be represented such as: Agricultural producers, buyers from international supermarket chains, heavy equipment, green houses, fertilizers, agrochemicals, equipment, irrigation systems, seeders, and much more.

What would a U.S. company expect to gain by attending (walking) the show vs. exhibiting?

By attending you will be able to get a sense of the market needs and situation in the agribusiness industry in Mexico, competitors, and practices. By exhibiting at the show you will start to have a brand presence and the possibility of finding counterparts or reps in the region.

Where will the Expo take place?

Agro Expo Sinaloa will take place at Campo Experimental Valle de Culiacan, Carr. Maxipista Culiacan –Mazatlan Km 17.5

How much does a booth cost and what does it include?

It is $2,250 (raw space) although the cost will depend on the kind and complexity of the signage (rotator, still, etc). Please let us know what you would like to have so we can provide a budget for it

It is a 5 x 5 mts (15 x 15 ft) booth with a duplex outlet of 110V is included; in case of other types of voltage please let us know your requirements.  Also it includes the walls armed with aluminum, signage, and green carpet.

Would the hotel be a suggested venue to host a small reception/dinner for our exhibitors/companies and selected guests?

No, we could use other ones closer to the venue.

Are there any suggested Hotels?

Yes.

Culiacan does not have a big amount of hotels, therefore rooms are limited and companies are asked to pay in advance for the full stay no later than November. However, we have a hotel that will allow us to pay for the reservations until we do the check out but confirmation should be done the third week of November at the latest.

CULIACAN, CITY OF THE GARDENS OF MEXICO

Culiacan is the state capitol of Sinaloa, the rivers Humaya, Tamazula and Culiacán run throughout the city maintaining a precious ecological environment reason which now is known as “La cuidad de los jardines de Mexico” (The city of gardens of Mexico).  The city counts with a great diversity of natural attractions including the wetlands amongst others.  More attractions are museums, parks, restaurants, and much more.
