The Counter-Proliferation Working Group (CPWG), organized and moderated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, would like to invite you to a conference on U.S. Export Controls and Economic Espionage scheduled on November 10th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Thomas P. O’Neill Federal Building Auditorium located at 10 Causeway Street, Boston, MA.
The goal of this conference is to inform businesses of their export obligations, discuss global security concerns, and address the ongoing threat posed by cyberattacks. The conference includes a thirty-minute panel discussion to answer questions of common concern.

November 16-20, 2009 - Energy Efficiency Mission to India
Ro Khanna, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Domestic Operations, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, will lead an Energy Efficiency Trade Mission to India November 16-20, 2009. U.S. manufacturers of energy efficient products and technologies won't want to miss this opportunity to enter or expand their business in the burgeoning Indian market. In New Delhi, delegation members will participate in the U.S.-India Energy Efficiency Technology Cooperation Conference, jointly organized by the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Agency for International Development. In New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai -- which are among India's most progressive cities pursuing energy efficiency solutions -- the mission will include customized business matchmaking appointments with potential clients, end-users, and partners; meetings with key national and local government officials; briefings; and site visits. The participation fee is $4,200 for large firms and $3,500 for small or medium-sized enterprises.
