August 11, 2008 – Sturbridge, MA: Tapping Into the Mexican and Canadian Markets
Discover the Opportunities in the Mexican and Canadian Food Markets and How Federal Assistance Programs Can Help Increase Your Export Sales.
August 11, 2008 • Sturbridge, MA • 9:00 am – 4:30
pm
More small and medium sized food businesses from Massachusetts
are doing business in Canada and Mexico. As the dollar
continues to weaken, there is more growth in U.S. food exports
than expected. Trade agreements are adding to this positive
growth. Canada and Mexico currently buy 28% of America's food and
agricultural exports, up from 20% purchased 15 years ago when
trade began under NAFTA. In 2007, U.S. agricultural exports
to Canada and Mexico reached more than $25 billion.
Raul Caballero, Mexico City, and Kathy Boyce, Ontario, will
provide an overview of the Mexican and Canadian markets including
discussions on the economy, geography, and demographics.
They are experts in their respective markets, assisting US
companies with market entry strategies and support.
Space is very limited. Registration deadline: August 1, 2008 •
