The Video Gold Key Service helps you make face-to-face contact via videoconference with Japanese importers, agents, distributors, or sales representatives, each of whom has been pre-screened by one of our Commercial Specialists.

Our Commercial Service Specialists will identify and contact qualified and interested Japanese firms, explain your product or service to them, and arrange a customized schedule of videoconference meetings for you with the most suitable candidates.

How the Video Gold Key Works

• Commercial Service staff identify and target the most suitable Japanese companies for your company
• We contact those companies on your behalf
• We arrange a videoconference meeting schedule with the best candidate companies
• A few days before the videoconference, we schedule an equipment test to make sure everything works well
• On the day of the scheduled videoconference:
• we arrange for representatives of the selected Japanese companies and, if necessary, an interpreter, to come into our office to use our state-of-the-art videoconference equipment;
• you make arrangements to be available via videoconference at a location of your choosing;
• we call you at prearranged times to conduct the videoconference meetings

The Video Gold Key Service includes

• Appointments, via videoconference, with pre-screened and pre-qualified importers, distributors, sales representatives or partners
• General background and contact information for each company on your videoconference schedule
• Market background and information on your industry sector
• Information on Japanese business etiquette and customs, and assistance with interpreter services
• Post-meeting debriefing with Commercial Service staff to discuss results of meetings, and assistance in developing appropriate follow-up strategies

Fee
- CS Japan initiates the videoconference from Japan: the current fee for the Video Gold Key Service is $1,500 for as many as three separate meetings of roughly an hour each. This special price includes ISDN line charges.

-You initiate the videoconference yourself from your office: the current VGKS fee is only $800 for as many as three separate meetings of roughly an hour each. Your telephone service provider in the U.S. will bill you separately for ISDN line charges.

Delivery Time and Requirements
At least six weeks is required to set up your videoconference schedule.

Interpretation Services
Most meetings are conducted in Japanese. We can help you make arrangements to hire a professional interpreter for the videoconference.

Videoconference Equipment
We use the latest videoconference equipment, which means excellent audio and picture quality.
