We are proud to announce that Airlift Inc., Futron Corporation, the Fisher Brothers Institute and the U.S. Commercial Service Tel Aviv are jointly organizing an international trade mission to Israel, January 24-29, 2010. The mission program includes:
- Site visits to major Israeli aerospace companies, e.g. Elop, IAI, Rafael
- Participation in the 5th Ilan Ramon International Space Conference
- Participation in pre-conference business event entitled: “The business of Israel – International Opportunities for Commercial Collaboration”
- Pre-arranged one-on-one business meetings with Israeli aerospace companies and government officials
The presence of NASA Administrator and former astronaut Charles F. Bolden, is confirmed. The heads of the Canadian and Italian space agencies will also participate.
Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael, Elbit Systems, Gilat, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Space X and other companies from South America, Europe and Asia will attend the business forum and conference.
Participation Fees
The fee to attend the mission is $3950 and includes:
- Four-night stay at the David Intercontinental hotel in Tel Aviv
- Transportation to the different venues
- Access to the business forum and Ilan Ramon Space Conference
- Pre-arranged calendar of B2B meetings
- Visits to IAI, Elop, Rafael and the Asher Space Research Institute
- Upscale reception hosted by the U.S. Embassy
- Touring of Jaffa and Caesarea.
Optional:
A one-day extension to Jerusalem is also scheduled. It is priced at $495 and will include transportation from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a one-night stay in a brand-new luxurious hotel and a guided tour of the Old City (the Armenian, Jewish, Christian and Muslim quarters).

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by Airlift no later than December 21, 2009. Fees for written cancellations received on or prior to Dec. 21 are fully refundable. Written cancellations received Dec. 22 – Dec. 31 are refundable less a $100 cancellation fee. Registrants who cancel beyond this date or fail to attend will forfeit the entire fee. However, full attendee substitutions for persons from the same organization may be made through January 15, 2010. Cancellation / substitution requests should be sent by email to irit.vanderveur@mail.doc.gov .
