The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest trade show for the publishing industry. With a history dating back 500 years, this fair is the world’s most important venue for publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, translators, authors and suppliers dealing with publishing rights, licenses and international property rights.

The fair will take place October 15-19.  Last year, 7,225 exhibitors from 101 countries attracted more than 286,000 visitors. The United States will be represented by 714 exhibitors this year, one of the largest non-German groups in attendance.
