The SEMA Show/AAPEX '09 consists of two trade events: the SEMA Show, produced by the Specialty Equipment Market Association, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) produced by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), held at the Sands Expo Center. SEMA represents the specialty automotive and performance aftermarket.  AAPEX represents both the do-it-yourself and the "professionally installed" aftermarket. The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) sponsors the SEMA Show.  Three major U.S. Automotive Aftermarket trade associations jointly sponsor AAPEX '09: the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA); the Auto International Association (AIA); the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).  The SEMA show is a four-day event, starting Tuesday November 3, 2009 and ending Friday November 6, 2009.  The AAPEX show is a three-day event, starting Tuesday, November 3, 2009 and ending Thursday November 5, 2009.
