The U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Embassy in Iraq would like to invite you to join our delegation to AACC 2008 Clinical Lab Exposition in Washington DC, USA from July 29-31, 2008, as part of a U.S. Department of Commerce International Buyer Program. In addition, your delegation will be lead by our Senior Commercial Specialist who will be on hand to assist you make the most out of your participation in AACC 2008. The AACC 2008 Clinical lab Expo is the world's largest clinical exposition in the world, highlighting the latest developments in science and technology in all areas of clinical diagnostics, automation, information systems, points of care, OEM, and biotechnology. This year, more, more than 700 companies are expected exhibit in more than 1800 booths. At AACC 2008, you will see more products in every clinical lab discipline than at any other show in the world.
Participate in exciting educational sessions conducted by dynamic presenters. Learn about the latest products and services available for clinical scientists. Interact with and learn from your colleagues in an informal environment. For a fee of $500 you can be a member of our delegation which includes the following services prior to, during and following the show:
- Access to the International Visitors Center, established specifically for members of international delegations.
- Our matchmaking service, where we introduce you to U.S. companies based on your needs and interests.
- You will be able to call upon the services of our U.S. Commercial Service colleagues in the U.S. at the AACC 2008, who are there especially to assist international delegates with export assistance and counseling.
- Meeting rooms can be reserved in advance at the International Visitor’s Center so that you can hold business meetings.
- The AACC has also negotiated special rates at leading hotels in Washington, DC and appointed an official housing agent (AACC Housing Services) for the Meeting and Expo.
- The U.S. Commercial Service will prepare a Iraqi Delegation brochure listing your company and distribute it at the show.
- We will assist you with scheduling interview appointment for a U.S. visa. Please note that the U.S. application process takes about 12 weeks. If you plan to attend you should apply for the visa as soon as possible. The Commercial Service cannot guarantee applicants will receive a U.S. visa or expedite the visa issuance.
- Sr. Commercial Specialist, Dr. Dara Saeed, in the U.S. Commercial Service office in Erbil will assist you with pre-registering for the show. After your return to Iraq, Dr. Dara will help you to follow up with the US companies you are interested in.
