Maryville College offers undergraduate studies in several areas such as business, economics, ecology, computer science, mathematics, psychology, sociology and several others. We also have a quality intensive English program with programs starting year-round.

The College is ranked annually as a top regional school in its category by US News and World Report's rankings of universities in the U.S.

Scholarships to the College are available for qualified students, covering up to 1/2 of the annual school and living costs. International students can often find work on-campus to help provide funding.

A key point for international students is that we offer the advantages of smaller classes and more individual attention, yet we also maintain a staff specifically for international student services. The International House houses our staff, and also has a full kitchen for students to use at any time, a computer lab, TV and study rooms.

We meet new international students at the airport, provide activities and trips, have advisors for study, work and immigration matters, and stay abreast of issues important to international students. This is rare on small college campuses.

The intensive English program offers five-week sessions throughout the year. We host students who will continue into Maryville College, but also host short-term students who just want to improve their English or experience life in the U.S., businessmen, and those bound for other schools who want an easy transition into U.S. life as provided by our small, safe campus.

The city of Maryville has been listed as one of the Top Ten Cities in the US for quality living. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the most visited national parks in the US, is just 20 minutes away to the south, while the larger city of Knoxville is just 20 minutes north.
