August 2007 - The Information Comunication & Technology (ICT) Team held its annual team meeting in conjunction with the "Web Revolution for Business" conference.  This two-day event, August 14th-15th, was held at the University of California, San Diego in California and addressed web application tools to help companies decrease their global business costs and increase market share and profitability.  The conference was organized by the ICT Team and comprised of approximately 100 attendees.  Event speakers included Google, E-Bay/PayPal and FedEx, who are all official U.S. Commercial Service partners.  Other speakers were CISCO, NIK Software, Yamagata America and Shipping Solutions along wth government entities such as the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
