Description: With over 70 exhibitors and 10,000
buyers, World of Pet Supplies is Hong Kong's largest pet
products show. The show is also concurrently held with
Hong Kong's largest housewares trade show, which features
additional potential buyers from non-traditional pet-products
distribution channels. With buyers participating in World
of Pet Products from China, Asia, and beyond, the show reflects
Hong Kong's role as a springboard into regional markets.
Hong Kong Market
In 2008, Hong Kong imported US$51 million of pet products, US$40 million of which were for local market consumption and the rest of which (about 22%) were re-exported, mainly to China. The U.S. is Hong Kong’s source of pet products, accounting for 43% of the total import market in 2008.
How to Participate
The U.S. Commercial Service Hong Kong office is organizing a U.S. Pavilion at the show and is helping U.S. pet products exporters promote their goods at the show. U.S. companies have several options to participate:
