Founded in 1908, the National Association of REALTOR (NAR) is the largest trade association in the United States, representing more than 1.3 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. NAR strives to be the collective force influencing and shaping the real estate industry. It seeks to be the leading advocate of the right to own, use, and transfer real proprety; the leader in developing standards for efficient, effective, and ethical industry practices; and viewed by skilled real estate professionals as crucial to their success. Working on behalf of America's property owners, NAR provides for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system and the right to own, use, and transfer real property.

The National Assocaition of Realtors (NAR) participating in the AREAS pavilion at MIPIM Asia is to educate Asian and other foreign investors in understanding the role of the real estate broker in an investment/property transaction in the United States, and to assist its members who specialize in commercial and international transactions in developing business opportunities with investors in the region.
