As the largest global travel and tourism trade event, ITB is an excellent opportunity to showcase your tourism product and/or destination to both trade professionals and consumers. The U.S Commercial Service recommends participation at ITB for any American company that has travel or tourism products suitable for the European market.
Our U.S. Commercial Service Travel and Tourism Team is offering a wide range of free and fee-based services to American exhibitors and visitors before, during and after the show. We especially want to draw your attention to our Showcase Europe Exhibitor Promotion support.
Our Showcase Europe Exhibitor Promotion can ensure your success at ITB. We can:
- Alert potential German partners that you will be at the show to generate interest in your tourism product and/or destination
- Engage Commercial Service Travel and Tourism Specialists in other countries to promote your presence at ITB to tour operators and other industry professionals in their markets who will attend ITB or want to improve their contacts with U.S. destinations and travel providers
- Feature your tourism product and/or destination on our official U.S. Commercial Service website in Germany to generate additional business leads
- Provide ad hoc appointment matchmaking
- Provide onsite counseling at ITB
- Update you about current U.S. visa and entry procedures
- Provide you with up-to-date market research
- Provide ad hoc interpreting or logistics assistance
- Introduce you to an International Trade Specialist at your nearest Commerce Department Export Assistance Center in the United States
- Follow up with contacts that you make at ITB at your request
