Protecting and enforcing the intellectual property rights of U.S. business in China is critically important for the continued success of the U.S. economy. Proper protection leads to fair and equitable returns on company investments and continued prosperity in a major export market.

China is Pennsylvania's 5 largest export market. In 2005 alone, approximately $930 million worth of Pennsylvanian exports were sent to China, a 19.5% increase from 2004.
