FERIA ALIMENTARIA

FERIA ALIMENTARIA is the biggest food industry show in Guatemala and gathers around 5,000 buyers, sellers, and consumers in one large event.  It will take place from September 8-10 at the Grand Tikal Futura Hotel Convention Center.  This year, the UNITED STATES will host an EXLUSIVE PAVILION where U.S. exporters and local importers will have the opportunity to exhibit U.S. products.  The U.S. Foreign Commercial Service (FCS), the Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the American Chamber of Commerce in Guatemala (AMCHAM), are providing a 10% DISCOUNT to those companies exhibiting in the USA Pavilion.  Prices including 10% discount are as follows:

·  Stand 3 x 3 mts. (aprox. 81 square feet) US$1,125.00
·  Stand 5 x 3 mts. (aprox. 135 square feet) US$1,305.00

These prices are only for companies exhibiting at the USA Pavilion and in return for your investment you will get:

o  A data base of visitors and exhibitors of the show (once the show finishes) 
o  A quality stand for your display
o  No heat lighting
o  A sign for your stand with the name of your exhibiting company
o  Two 110V electrical outlets
o  Your company’s information in the Food Show directory
o  Exhibitor badges for the company’s representatives
o  Invitations for opening ceremony
o  The opportunity to conduct a seminar during the show (prior notification)

As parallel events, FERIA ALIMENTARIA will also feature The Central American Restaurant Congress and the Gastronomic Festival.

**AS AN ALTERNATIVE to you exhibiting at the show, the U.S. Commercial Service in Guatemala can showcase your products at FERIA ALIMENTARIA.  For a small fee you will have the unique opportunity to market your brand, promote your product and even deliver your company brochure directly to the CEO’s of 50 companies.  During the show the Commercial Service can do for your company one of the following:

1.         For $100 we will put your contact information and your logo in the U.S. export directory to be distributed at the show.

2.         For $200 we will sit down with you and learn about your product, receive and display your brochures, talk about and promote your company among attendees, and provide you with a listing of all the people that showed interest in your product (company is responsible for mailing at least 50 brochures).

3.         For $300 we’ll do both of the above and do a direct mailing with an introductory letter from our Senior Commercial Officer to the CEO’s of 50 companies (company is responsible for mailing at least 75 brochures).

If you register prior to June 12th, you will receive a 10% discount!!!
