Hunting and Sport Shooting
The time is right to prepare for IWA & OutdoorClassics 2010, the 36th international trade fair for hunting and sport shooting equipment, outdoor articles and accessories, taking place March 12-15, in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2009, some 1,129 exhibitors with an international share of over 74 percent presented their products and services to 32,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries. The international share of visitors at IWA & OutdoorClassics averages 60 percent, which makes it a truly international meeting place for the industry in general and for U.S. companies in particular.
U.S. Exhibitor Support at IWA 2010
The U.S. Commercial Service is offering a wide range of support services for U.S. exhibitors at IWA 2010. Our standard services include the Exhibitor Support Program (ESP) and the International Promotion Program (IPP). Both programs are mostly free-of-charge and provide high-quality support that pro-actively complements your company's presence at the show. Our third program, the American Business Center (ABC), is designed for U.S. manufacturers of hunting arms, apparel and equipment who are interested in getting exposure at IWA 2010 but have not exhibited at the show before. After its successful introduction in 2009, we will again host an ABC in the USA Pavilion next year. This is a unique opportunity for first-time exhibitors to showcase their products and evaluate the show at a very affordable cost.
American Business Center (ABC)
The ABC is ideal for U.S. companies who want marketing exposure at IWA and have not exhibited before, or, could not secure a booth at the upcoming show. This program is specially designed for, but not limited to, companies who are new-to-export or new to the German and European market. As part of the USA Pavilion, the ABC offers shelf and display space for showcasing product samples and literature to a broad international audience.
The ABC Standard Service Package for only USD 1,400 includes:

A detailed ABC Flyer will be available for download shortly.
Exhibitor Support Program (ESP)
Through the ESP, we will be able to provide you with a variety of services, including market research, assistance in finding suitable business partners and other customized services, all designed to promote your exports before, during and after the show. It includes the following elements:
- Focused email promotion of U.S. exhibitors to local contacts in the hunting and sport shooting industry (FREE)
- Product listing on BuyUSA.gov Germany to generate additional leads (Featured U.S. Exporter for USD 150)
- On-site counseling, market research, interpreting, and logistics assistance (FREE)
- Follow-up with leads after the show per agreement with sector specialist (FREE)
International Promotion Program (IPP)
The IPP is a useful extension of the ESP. Due to its highly international visitor structure and its location in the center of Europe, IWA 2010 holds great prospects for U.S. companies to reach a wider European audience and enter other markets in Europe and beyond. Therefore, we are partnering with the hunting specialists in various U.S. Commercial Service offices across Europe. They will provide the following free-of-charge services and resources:
- Focused email promotion to hunting and sport shooting contacts in multiple global markets (FREE)
- Country-specific market briefs (FREE)
- Country-specific lists of key contacts and distributors (FREE)
U.S. Commercial Service hunting specialists from various European offices are also planning to attend IWA 2010. They stand ready to personally counsel U.S. exhibitors on their markets during the show.
