Aircraft Interiors Expo 2009

Aerospace Industry

Hamburg — It's time to prepare for the upcoming Aircraft Interiors Expo 2009, taking place March 31-April 2, in Hamburg, Germany. Aircraft Interiors Expo is the world's largest trade show for airline interior design and airline cabin systems engineering. Every conceivable product type for interiors will be on show from seating and fabrics through to in-flight entertainment and communications technologies, galley systems and food service equipment, lavatories, lighting, laminates, floor coverings, refurbishment and cabin maintenance products, safety equipment and more. In 2008, the show attracted some 12,000 trade visitors from over 70 countries and nearly 200 airlines, an increase of 2% over the previous year. Once again, the highest number of trade visitors from outside of Germany came from the United States. More than 1,000 U.S. visitors came to see the latest developments in cabin interiors. As Aircraft Interiors Expo will be held at New Hamburg Fair (halls B4-B7), the show will benefit from a state-of-the-art exhibition environment. On the exhibitor side, there will be over 500 companies at Aircraft Interiors Expo, some 100 or nearly 20% of which will come from the United States. There will also be a dedicated zone for exhibitors of Inflight Services.
