January 12-15, 2009
McCormick Place South
Chicago, IL
ProMat 2009 (http://www.promatshow.com) is the largest and most comprehensive international material handling and logistics trade event in the Western Hemisphere. In January 2009, over 40,000 material handling and logistics buyers from more than 80 countries will arrive at Chicago’s McCormick Place South. They will be welcomed by over 700 exhibits covering 300,000 net square feet on one show floor – exhibits that feature the best productivity solutions the industry has to offer. The companies will cover manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and logistics solutions. ProMat organizes exhibits into four industry-specific solution centers: the center for equipment, components & manufacturing solutions – the center for fulfillment & delivery solutions – the center for assembly logistics & support solutions – the center for information technology solutions. In addition, ProMat’s knowledge portal offers a unique show floor education site that allows exhibitors to share their industry expertise with attendees. The knowledge portal also features industry associations and publishers who provide benchmarking, research services and resource materials.
ProMat offers half day seminars focusing on the integration of material handling and logistics technologies throughout organizations and their business processes. Industry-and-issue-specific pre-show workshops offer attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to attend detailed workshops on specific issues. Exhibitors have the opportunity to distinguish themselves through sponsorship of show floor seminars. Attendees can attend these sessions at no cost and without ever leaving the show floor.
International visitors who pre-register for ProMat 2009 will receive free admission to the event.
