The Global Environmental Team leveraged Waste Expo 2006, the leading trade show for the U.S. solid waste industry held in Las Vegas April 5-7, to support dozens of high quality solid waste equipment and service providers in their international sales expansion. 

The Showtime Program featured Global Environmental Specialists from seven markets (Bulgaria, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) plus trade promotion programs of BISNIS, Eximbank and MDCP Cooperator ENTECH that promotes U.S. environmental companies in China. Seventeen companies benefited from the Showtime program for a total of 76 appointments organized. In addition, Global Environmental team members introduced 10 U.S. companies directly to foreign buyers and organized an Export Seminar for U.S. exhibitors.  Waste Expo was a designated International Buyer Program again this year and included a well-attended international buyer reception.
