On Thursday November 14, 2006,  the U.S. Export-Import Bank organized the Clean Technology Exports Conference "Finding New Buyers and Financing Your Exports" hosted at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, California. This program was a Global Environmental Team strategic partnership event, in which the Team played a key role in the promotion and recruitment.  The U.S. Commercial Service made presentations on the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service and the Environmental Team services and opportunities in Australia for environmental companies.

Ex-Im Bank's Vice Chair and First Vice President Linda Conlin was the keynote speaker at the event, which was focused on the water and renewable energy technology sectors. The attendees ranged from environmental exporters to banking institutions, financial service providers, brokers, venture capitalists and private sector clean technology representatives.
